Arrived at 1:30pm and not much wind so rigged my 7.4. Just before I went out the wind picked up so I was mucho overpowered. Had a few runs with the 7.4 which handled the wind quite admirably, but it was hard work and not much fun so came back in and rigged my 6.0.

I thought the JP was good with the 7.4, but with the 6.0 it went like a dream! Much faster, some very nice chop hops, still very controllable.

One big problem though....I'm still sailing like a complete muppet. Pulled off virtually no dry gybes/tacks and was constantly spinning out. I'll use the very up-and-down wind and confused Weston chop as a lame excuse for that.

Overall, decent session with 5 friends and good cross-shore (albeit gusty) wind so nice to get out with my 6.0 on the JP, but still very pissed off with my general level of crapness.
